Simply Magnificent

So this is a poem I wrote in 7th/8th grade, it was for a project but a lot of people liked it I guess (back then). It wasn't about anyone, I just felt inspired. Let me know if you like it (remember I was 11-13 years old when I wrote it so don't hate too hard hahah).

1 I seen her before in my dreams
Light hits her and reflects back on me
As I set back and watch her, my eyes replenished
Like a poor farm kid, drinking the cold mighty river
5 Her eyes are set apart
Distance and dark
Glowing with a force like no other
I feel as though I am gone when I look into them
Her hair, a flaring black
10 Riding down from her temples to her back
How I wish, oh how I wish that I was a comb of hers
In the morning as she used me
Her grace, nice and gentle
So poised and set
15 Never a step out of place
Walking for her, is heaven for me
I think of her ever so constantly
I want her with me ever so much
How I’d yearn and beg for all her heart
20 So I know that this won't be
She’s so graceful and perfect
Like an angel from up above
When I see her I surrender and give in
Because she’s so simply magnificent…

Who's hating? haha It was magnificent. I'm sure your talent in poetry really helps you when you're writing your songs. I would love to hear them one day.
