if you've read earlier blogs, you may know me not to care about the words that come outta my mouth (or in this case, my keyboard). And that's the truth, I don't. There are certain words in the English language that are categorized as "bad" or "cuss" words. why?! They're just words aren't they? Why are they all of a sudden recognized as cuss words when there's a billion other words out there that have even WORSE meanings than them (i.e. the word politics or religions =]). These "cuss" words are usually used when trying to prove a point without evidence right? Yahnoe, those times when you know your side of the arguments totally wrong but you just keep cussing to make it sound like it's right. Well yeah, this is the main use of cussing, to add emotion and emphasis to your words. Without cuss words through out this world, it would not be as intense.
Yeah I know I just totally contradicted myself in the last paragraph, but I think you should get my point. What I'm trying to say is that these words should be okay with society. They shouldn't be thought of as bad or wrong, they should just be part of the flow of language. After all, they're all really just synonyms to other "normal" words, am I right? Fuck is the equivalent of sex or a way to add really strong emphasis to something. Bitch is a female dog or, as these close-minded retard guys would say, a woman. Ass is a donkey or your bottom (I'd say butt but I hate using that word). There's a whole list more, these are just the words that media mainly censors. Is that a right thing to do? In modern times yes. Why? Because these words, throughout the ages, have gathered such a bad reputation, now everybody just wants to try to avoid teaching our younger generations. You dumb shits, like that's going to stop them from learning. It especially makes me laugh when parents assume that their kids don't cuss, at all. Are they serious?! You honestly think that the moment we don't leave this house, we don't start throwing out cuss words like they're last weeks pizza?! Then some parents try to stop their kids from cussing, but the moment the father's porn magazines are missing:
"Delilah, where the fuck are my magazines?!"
Mom: "Those fucking pieces of shit?! Why the fuck do you even have those?! Do I not satisfy you?!"
Dad:"Bitch! You can barely suck my dick!"
Meanwhile, the child is just idly sitting in the living room watching his favorite episode of Spongebob. Though he's not really paying attention, his mind being used to the constant fighting, he still hears the words, and he assumes that society would allow him to use these since the two figures he most idolizes goes around and says them at least three times a sentence.
I understand you parents trying to keep the words from coming outta your kids' mouth, but to do that, how bout you avoid from doing it to huh? If you political bastards really think that these words should be censored, then how bout you wastes of air stop using it to. If you religious "leaders" think cussing is sinning, then why'd I hear your main nun the other night bent over and screaming her lungs out for you to fuck her harder? Am I right or am I right? Yeah kids, go on and cuss. It's a free country, and you have the liberty of speech to always turn to right? So go out there and telling the fucking world how much you fucking love fucking!....and cussing. =]

Not to be all disagreeing and spazzing over your blog...
But cussing is still cussing. It's bad. Even if every other person uses a cuss word every other word doesn't mean it's not bad.
Just because a bunch of people steal or smoke weed doesn't automatically make it a normal thing. Of course, it's just expressive words, but they're still bad.
Why is lying or stealing bad? Do you know why? No we don't, and of course you could say it harms others, but cussing, may hurt someones feelings the same way.
Words are a very sensitive matter actually, and I'd seriously like you to take it seriously as well. Words hurt. A lot.
Oh man, I'm such a fucking hypocrite. But you get where I'm coming from?
Also, if they were just normal words, I would lose the fun in using them.
It's fun to use them because it's bad. If everyone used them... It would just be another phase of the world.
I agree that people should not get overworked when a cuss word is thrown out if it's under the premise of self expression and not as an insult. What Joelle says makes a lot of sense, but the WHY factor ties in too much with whatever the definition of morality is. And of course, who made that definition?
I understand and agree too with how he said you should use it with discretion. He's right about the usage of these words and how it's more fun to use them simply because they're bad.
But I really liked the part about political leaders, adults, religious leaders, and how they were such hypocrites themselves.
