"You Make Breaking Hearts Look So Easy." -Breaking by Anberlin off their album, New Surrender.

This is a song about someone that make's breaking hearts look easy, basically what I quoted up there. Why did this band have a reason to write such a song? Unlike other things in this world, the heart of a person should not be taken so lightly. It is the main thing that keeps a person alive and well (aka; the emotions). Everybody knows this so they decide to take advantage of it. They want to ruin a person as much as possible so they just stab at him with words and insults. They break the one thing that was so important for them. They find out what/who they care about and totally take that away. They destroy that person. What's the cause for doing this? Jealousy? Greed? Pride? Just simple ass-holeness? It could be any combination of the four. They imagine their victim crawling to their feet and kissing it, begging them to stop. They want that person to suffer, mercilessly. They laugh at his tears shed, blood splattered, mud kicked in their face. They look at the sorry victim's face and keep laughing, letting them know they don't give a shit what they did. The victim falls into an uncontrollable frenzy of emotions. Not knowing what to do, humans either take revenge on the opressor, or the oppressed, themselves. Their mind comes up with the most fucked up thoughts to do to one, or another. With their mind sets, nothing can stop them. Who knows what the outcome is. All of these chain of events are all cause of one little pathetic bitch picking on people just for his/her own happiness. They think they're bigger and better than everybody else and totally forget of their own feelings. They don't realize what their victims are going through. They don't know how they'd feel in that position. The heart of a person is not to be fooled around with, and in the end, you'll realize what you did wrong, probably the hard way. So please, the next time you decide to break a heart, a life, a person, think again. Imagine how you'd feel in such a position cause I'm sure that'll change your perspective on it all. So go out there, and be a better person for a change, you pathetic piece of shit. =]
