can YOU keep a conversation going?
That's a question that should be answered by all teens. Can you keep a conversation going? Or are they all just awkward silences? Are you able to move from one convo topic to another with ease? or is there a 5 minute pause between topics, because if so, then you cant do anything right. I myself am a little of both. i try to wait and see if the person im talking to starts the convo/keeps it going. if they dont/cant (usually) then i must follow through and the replies they give me are short answers. i especially hate it when people IM me/start talking to me and just like NOT be able to carry it on. sure some may think im annoying, but thats not even the case because i dont even talk as much anymore and i pretty much leave the conversation open for both sides. its cool if i start the convo or IM you and you dont wanna talk but if YOU'RE gonna start it please keep it going as much as possible. if you stutter every once in a while or dont know what to say, thats cool i'll keep it going. but dont be some bitch that just answers my questions when i ask them. ask some of your own questions. if you wanna keep me as a friend so much, well you sure as hell dont know it. and i know this may be a rant to ONE person (which it kinda is) but it applies to most people i talk to. only a couple people i know can keep a convo going with me. is it cuz i speed ahead of you on your thoughts? cuz i type too fast? cuz i type too MUCH about the topic? or is it just cuz you dont wanna talk. well if you dont wanna talk just lie and say you'll be right back or something or just DONT start the convo in the first place. please leave me be unless you wanna talk, cuz if you wanna have a nice convo, its much appreciated, if not FUCK OFF! =]

LOL that's a good point, even though I do some of that XD. I guess you're right in the way that you shouldn't start a conversation when you know you're going to be busy and such. You know, have responsibility haha. *buries in back of her head* I'll keep that in mind the next time I talk to someone.

And nice post! As for me, I can keep a conversation going sometimes, but if the topic is something way out of my league, like politics, I'll mostly keep quiet about it.

This was interesting. I've been told that I can keep a conversation, and that makes me pretty happy, seeing your thoughts on it. I feel you when you say that people shouldn't even start a conversation if they're not going to be interested or engaged.
But I do this sometimes. We all do. It just depends whether or not we're aware of it and want to fix it.
Well, that's my opinion, at least. We're entitled to THAT, at least (:
