The word love is thrown around a lot nowadays, whether one means it or not. Well what must one really FEEL to say they love someone? It's not even known today. Maybe hundreds of years back, when the voices spoke differently, love actually meant something, now? Not as much.
When someone says I love you to my friend, he immediately replies saying "Shut the fuck up, you don't know what love is." I tend to argue with him about this, but truly, he probably is right. Why did that other person just say I love you? Probably cause he gave them his lunch because they asked for it, or maybe he gave them a dollar for a soda, so they claimed they love him.
I understand I'm getting too technical with everything, but I just want to express what I feel, don't we all?
I don't mind saying "Love you" to anyone, anyone at all, be it a guy or a girl, friend or enemy, it's a good way to make someone feel better. I always fall asleep telling my closest friends I love them and usually they reply the same way. Though it's a small grouping of words, it always makes me feel a lot better. But then sometimes I wonder, do they really mean it (of course I mean in a friendly/brotherly/sisterly manner, not in the romantic passionate way), do they really mean it when they say I love you? Or is it just a repeat of what I said? Do people just feel obligated to say it after another has said it? It's like the "I like you" thing. When someone tells you they like you, you feel like you have to say you like(d) them too, just to make it fair. But then that leads to different things, maybe you said it because finding out they like you, you are instantly attracted to them. This is actually true. When one finds out someone likes them, and the other is attracted to the liker, they start claiming they like the liker too, even though, maybe seconds back, they were teasingly talking shit about the person they just found out likes them. Confusing? Yeah, cause I wrote it wrong, but I'm sure you smart kids can figure it out
This is starting to get off track, let me get back on the love thing. It's printed everywhere, people advertise with it, there are thousands of symbols that represent it, it spreads like wildfire but dies down in the same matter. Between friends, family, lovers, and others, love is a small, meaningless thing. Whether it's better for our generation, or worse, I don't know, but I would love to try out the feeling of the OLD meaning of love. When it all actually meant something. Now don't get me wrong, this doesn't apply to everyone, it's just the common usage of the word that makes me worry as to who means it and who just says it to say it. Rest assured, whenever I say it, I mean it, to whichever extent I need to mean it to.
Repetitive blog I understand, but this way there's more examples for people to understand from. Go tell someone you love them, but this time, mean it. They'll probably mirror the words, but if they don't, know they are still thinking it so continue to keep your head up and never ever stress. =]

But it's so weird...about how you said that one minute that person can be just a friend or something, and the next, after they admit they like you, it becomes SO much more...even if you're not talking shit about them, though!...hm
i "love" it. and i MEAN it.
Shut the fuck up, you don't know what love is.
Seriosuly? How rude. Plain and simple, love is not a universal feeling. It's different for everyone. People need to realize that and stop jumping on everyones case. It's like saying you're tired. Well a kid picking cotton in the fields is way more tired then you, so you don't know what tired is.
All I'm saying is that love is not one EXACT feeling. It's different for every single human being on this planet. And for someone to tell another person what love is, is just downright stupid. One mans love for music compared to Mozzart's love for it would be nothing.
shut up anar you dont know what love is.
hahahahaah
"hey baby,i never knew what love was til i met you *wink*"
