Well anyways, if you dont already know, people have had friends since mankind was created thanks to non other than the beautiful art of EVOLUTION! =]
Friends back then were people that actually deserved to be called friends. Today: friends=everyone else. Nowadays, an average friend or even best friend wouldnt do the shit that they would have done 30-40 years ago. For example, when somebody (B) is picking on your friend (C) you (A) should stand up for C. But in today's society, A never stands up for C but instead, backs C up. Especially if A B and C are friends, then it gets really bad. If A and C are good friends and B is just an acquaintance, B may tease either A or C but the other friend, depending on whose getting picked on, won't help. Instead he/she'll just make it worse by supporting B. This isn't a rare thing, all friends do it nowadays. The guys especially. Man, us males are just pathetic inferiors on this planter arent we? We cant seem to do anything right. And indeed, its true. Us guys are especially weak when it comes to friends. Guy friends never admit that they miss each other, stand up for each other, or compliment/encourage each other. All they do is diss and put down. If two guys havent seen each other for a long while and they meet one day, they wouldn't do anything special about it. They'd just pretend that theyve been seeing each other everyday for the last few years and none of them would admit that they had missed one another. 30-40 years, this wasnt the case. Friends, male and female, had actually cared for each other and thats why friendships worked out. Nowadays, society, clothing, stereotypes, and other ways of separating people have made the best of friends, the worst of enemies. Hopefully this shall all change and itll go back to the way it was 30-40 years ago, but i REALLY doubt that. So if you have any friends and you dont treat them as well as you should, either lose them, because you dont deserve them, or be better to them and make your friendships something that'll last. =]

Man gender roles really destroy friendships. Materialism is something that has just destroyed our values and has torn down numerous friendships as well. God that crap is just evil, it has also replaced western culture with freaking clothes with labels.
